South East Finalists

22 from the South East reach National Training Awards shortlist

Twenty-two organisations and individuals from the South East have reached the finals of this year’s National Training Awards.  The awards are the premier accolade for training in the UK, celebrating the outstanding success of individuals and organisations.

This year’s Awards have shown a 28% increase in entries with 727 entries received.  They have now been whittled down to just 232 finalists.

In the South East the finalists are:

The region’s winners will be revealed at a ceremony held at the Copthorne Effingham Park on Tuesday 7th October.

The National Training Awards’ premier sponsor is City & Guilds and supported by Investors in People.  The Awards are organised on behalf of the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills by UK Skills, a not-for-profit organisation which champions vocational skills and learning for work.

Chair of the South East judging panel, Kathryn Cook, said: “The National Training Awards have been celebrating training that transforms individuals and organisations for more than 20 years. This year there has been a 15 percent increase in entries for the Awards in the South East. I congratulate all the finalists who have made this year’s shortlist.”
