Chair of the Greater London judging panel, Katherine Bussey said:  “This year’s finalists have shown excellent business sense, innovation and exemplary commitment in investing in training their staff this year.  The skills enhancements mean these organisations will be the first to grow when the economy recovers.  There was an impressively wide range of entries from our region.”

Simon Bartley, Chief Executive of UK Skills which manages the National Training Awards said:  “From speaking with past winners of the National Training Awards we have established that more than half have enjoyed increased awareness amongst their customer base, with a further third stating they have gained additional business following winning an award. These figures speak for themselves and it is clear that those who invest in high quality training reap the benefits.

“Now more than ever it is essential for organisations to continue to invest in the development of their staff if they are to remain competitive in the future. I would like to congratulate the finalists who have made the shortlist for the Awards.”
